Samsung has officially started rolling out the July 2025 security update to a bunch of Galaxy phones and tablets. What’s new in the July 2025 security patch?
The July 2025 patch is primarily focused on enhancing device security. According to Samsung, this update fixes 21 high-severity Android OS vulnerabilities, along with one critical Android flaw.

after July update on my S25 Edge, I can’t use my phone to pay for anything as it seems the wallet app or NFC is broken.

This update is horrible, 20% of my apps no longer work on wifi and another 20% function only partially. I can’t even use the phone for 2 factor Authentication unless I remember to turn off wifi. Second time a security update did this.
