One UI 8.0 update is coming to these Samsung devices: check if yours is on the list

Samsung’s next big software upgrade — One UI 8 — is already on the horizon, and it’s bringing Android 16 along with it. It debuted on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 launched earlier this month, and Samsung is readying it for older devices. The beta program is already live, meaning the stable rollout should be on the horizon.

Whether you have a high-end Galaxy S-series phone, a mid-range A-series phone, a tablet, or a budget Galaxy smartphone, you’re likely looking forward to the next major upgrade, One UI 8. So, I have put together a list of Galaxy devices that are eligible for the update. Check it out below.

Samsung typically releases One UI updates in stages, starting with its flagship Galaxy S series. Since the beta is already underway for the Galaxy S25 lineup, we can expect the stable One UI 8 rollout to begin sometime in Q3 2025, likely with the S25, S24, Fold 6, and Flip 6 models. Mid-range and budget phones should follow in the months after.

It’s worth noting that fan edition (FE) models usually don’t get beta access, but they’re often among the first to receive the stable version — so if you’re using a Galaxy S24 FE or Tab S9 FE, you may not have to wait long.

We’ll keep this list updated as more information becomes available. Stay tuned for the latest One UI 8 rollout news.
