Samsung has finally confirmed when the next One UI 8 beta is coming to the Galaxy S25 series — and it’s happening very soon. After nearly a month of silence since Beta 3, the company has announced that it will release the fourth beta version of Android 16-based One UI 8 sometime next week.
This update confirmation comes directly from Samsung’s Community forum in Korea, where the company also apologized for the delay in pushing out Beta 4. The last beta version rolled out back in June, and until now, there’s been no official word on the next build — leaving many Galaxy S25 users wondering when they’d see fresh improvements.

While Samsung hasn’t shared the changelog for Beta 4 yet, we’re expecting it to be more refined and closer to the final version of One UI 8. Interestingly, a new test build was recently spotted on Samsung’s servers. However, it lacked a few features from earlier betas, such as the Adaptive Lock Screen Clock — which has raised some eyebrows. Let’s hope that’s not the final Beta 4 build.
As of now, there’s still no official date for the stable One UI 8 release, but rumors suggest that Beta 4 could be the last test version before Samsung wraps up the beta program. If that’s true, the stable rollout might begin as early as next month — likely starting with the Galaxy S25 series before expanding to other eligible Galaxy devices.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for the update next week and will share all the new features as soon as they go live. Stay tuned.
