Galaxy Tab S10 series gets One UI 8 update in multiple regions

Samsung’s newest flagship tablets are now jumping on the One UI 8 bandwagon. After making its debut in South Korea a few weeks ago, the One UI 8 (Android 16) update for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is finally expanding to more regions, including India, the UK, and the US.

One UI 8 update for Galaxy Tab S10 series reaches outside Korea

The rollout marks the first international wave of updates for Samsung’s top-end tablets. Both the Wi-Fi-only and 5G (cellular) variants of the Galaxy Tab S10 series are receiving the update.

The update arrives with firmware version X82xBXXU4CYI5 for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and X92xBXXU4CYI5 for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. You can check for it manually by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

The update comes with a host of new features and UI refinements tailored for larger displays. Samsung has redesigned key elements like DeX, Quick Panel, Now Bar, and Now Brief, making multitasking and navigation smoother and more intuitive.

Several core apps — including Alarm, Calendar, Drawing Assist, Gallery, Quick Share, My Files, Notes, Reminder, Samsung Internet, and Weather — have been revamped with updated visuals and enhanced functionality. The experience now feels more consistent across Samsung’s ecosystem, whether you’re using a Galaxy phone or tablet.

One UI 8.5 already in development

While One UI 8 is still making its way across Samsung’s lineup, the company isn’t slowing down. Work on One UI 8.5 is already underway. It will still be based on Android 16 but is expected to bring a refreshed interface and additional features. Samsung is rumored to debut the new version alongside the Galaxy S26 series in February 2026, with the Galaxy Tab S10 lineup among the first in line to receive it shortly after launch.
