Samsung continues its rapid One UI 8 rollout in India, bringing the Android 16–based update to more mid-range devices. After a successful beta phase, the company has now started rolling out the stable One UI 8 update for both the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy A35 in the country.
Galaxy A54 gets the stable One UI 8 update in India
The Galaxy A54, which joined the One UI 8 beta program in India last month, is now receiving the stable version of the update. The new firmware comes with version A546EXXUFEYI4 and has a modest download size of 276.51MB for those already enrolled in the beta program. Users running One UI 7.0 can expect a larger download package when their rollout begins in the coming days.

Samsung has already rolled out the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy A54 across Asia, Europe, and Latin America, making India one of the latest markets to receive it.
Galaxy A35 also joins the One UI 8 party in India
The Galaxy A35 is also getting the stable One UI 8 update in India, expanding beyond its earlier rollout in South Korea and Iran. The update carries the firmware version A356EXXU5CYI8 and is 270.01MB in size for users who were part of the beta program. Non-beta users should begin receiving the update shortly as Samsung completes its staged rollout.

To manually check if the update is available, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Make sure your device has enough storage and battery before proceeding with the installation.
Looking ahead, both the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A35 are eligible for the upcoming One UI 8.5 update, which Samsung is expected to unveil alongside the Galaxy S26 series early next year. The newer version is said to bring more advanced UI tweaks and broader support for AI-powered features.
