Samsung kicked off the Android 16-based One UI 8 rollout in mid-September, and the company maintained an impressive pace through October. In fact, several devices received the update ahead of schedule, giving users hope that this would be Samsung’s fastest major Android rollout yet.
However, the momentum has slowed down in recent weeks. Even though November was originally lined up for only a mid-range tablet, a number of Galaxy models are still waiting for their turn. While many phones have already picked up One UI 8 along with the October or even November 2025 security patches, several others remain stuck on older firmware.
Below is the complete list of Samsung devices still awaiting the One UI 8 update.
Galaxy devices yet to receive the One UI 8 update
- Galaxy A24
- Galaxy A16 (4G)
- Galaxy A15 (4G)
- Galaxy M07
- Galaxy F07
- Galaxy Tab A11
- Galaxy Tab A9+
This pending list includes a blend of both older releases and Samsung’s newest budget offerings. Devices such as the Galaxy A24, Galaxy A16 LTE, Galaxy A15 LTE, and Galaxy Tab A9+ are older models that should have been updated by now. On the other hand, the Galaxy M07, Galaxy F07, and Galaxy Tab A11 are recent launches and were expected to join the rollout early as well.
The One UI 8 rollout began exactly as promised. From mid-September to late October, Samsung pushed the update to dozens of models, even upgrading some devices ahead of their official timeline, including Galaxy A25 5G, F05, M05, Tab S10+, and A53. These were originally scheduled for November but received the update a month in advance, which created a perception that Samsung was on track for a record-breaking rollout.
However, things slowed down as the company approached November. The Galaxy A24, A16 4G, A15 4G, M07, and F07 have all missed their expected window. The remaining two tablets — Galaxy Tab A11 and Tab A9+ — are scheduled to receive One UI 8 this month, so back-to-back rollouts could still happen.

One UI 8.5 is already in development
While the remaining devices wait for their stable release, Samsung has already shifted part of its focus to One UI 8.5. The company is preparing to open the Beta Program later this month, which indicates that development is progressing swiftly behind the scenes.
Still, this shouldn’t further delay the rollout of One UI 8 for the pending models, especially since Samsung typically runs multiple software branches in parallel.
Samsung has already delivered One UI 8 to a long list of Galaxy devices, and the rollout remains strong despite the recent slowdown. With November still ongoing, the Galaxy Tab A11 and Tab A9+ could receive their updates anytime, while older and budget models like the A24, A16, A15, M07, and F07 should also get their turn soon.
