Samsung Care+ updated with unlimited repairs and expanded coverage

Samsung is rolling out a major upgrade to its Samsung Care+ protection plan for Galaxy devices in Europe, introducing game-changing benefits like unlimited accidental damage repairs and expanded coverage. The enhanced plan aims to provide Galaxy users with greater peace of mind by simplifying claims and expanding support networks across the continent.

The most significant change is the introduction of unlimited repairs for accidental damage. Subscribers can now seek service for issues like cracked screens or water damage at Samsung-certified centers as many times as needed, without worrying about claim limits. Samsung has also simplified the excess fee structure, applying a consistent charge regardless of the repair type.

A major hurdle for travelers has been eliminated with the removal of the previous 60-day limit for repairs outside the subscriber’s home country. The plan now offers “comprehensive coverage both at home and abroad.”

The service plan also extends beyond the standard warranty period, continuing coverage for as long as the Samsung Care+ subscription remains active. This includes complimentary battery replacement if the capacity drops below 80% after the standard warranty expires. All repairs use genuine Samsung parts and are available through both walk-in service centers and mail-in options for convenience.

Flexibility extends to payment options as well. Customers can now choose monthly installments for up to 60 months, alongside the existing upfront payment option for one or two years of coverage. An optional theft and loss add-on provides replacement within 48 hours for approved claims, integrated with Samsung Knox Guard for remote device locking to protect personal data.

“Samsung Care+ now includes unlimited repairs and added more walk-in repair locations across Europe to help our customers get the most from their Galaxy devices,” said Sangwook Chun, EVP and Head of the Samsung Care+ Team.

Potential subscribers should note that the enhanced Samsung Care+ plan isn’t available in all European markets, remaining unavailable in countries including Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.

This upgraded hardware protection complements Samsung‘s software support strategy, which includes upcoming updates like One UI 8.5 for eligible devices. The combination of enhanced physical protection and ongoing software improvements demonstrates Samsung’s commitment to supporting Galaxy users throughout their device’s lifecycle across Europe.
