ASUS is all set to launch the Zenfone 8 series on May 12. It was earlier predicted that the Zenfone 8 might feature a flip camera like the one we have seen in Zenfone 6 series and Zenfone 7. The new teaser shared by ASUS reveals that Zenfone 8 will feature a punch-hole selfie camera.

ASUS has confirmed that the Zenfone 8 will be compact in size. That may be the reason, why ASUS might not go with a flip camera for Zenfone 8. The series is most likely to consists of 3 smartphones: Zenfone 8, 8 Pro, and 8 Mini.

The company has not revealed any specifications of the Zenfone 8. But, thanks to the Geekbench which suggests that Zenfone 8 or 8 Pro may come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and Android 11 out of the box. The Zenfone 8 Mini is said to feature a 5.92-inch 120Hz OLED display, 64MP Sony IMX686, and a new Sony IMX663 sensor. The phone could also feature 30W fast charging. We are less than 2 weeks away from the launch and the company will now start teasing the specifications to build hype.
