
Oppo has started pushing the Android 16-based ColorOS 16 update to the Reno 11 and F25 Pro. Both mid-range devices launched with Android 14, making this their second major OS upgrade.
The company confirmed the rollout through an official post on its support forum. For now, the update is available in India, with additional markets expected to receive it in the coming days. Oppo is releasing the upgrade with the following firmware versions:
- Oppo Reno 11: CPH259916.0.2.400 (EX01)
- Oppo F25 Pro: CPH260316.0.2.400 (EX01)
Before downloading, make sure your device is running the latest available software version and has at least 6-7GB of free storage space. Also, make sure your phone is charged to at least 50 percent to avoid any interruptions during the process.
To get the Android 16 update without any further wait, navigate to Settings > System & Update, tap the top of the page, then tap the icon in the top right corner. From there, select Beta Program > Release Candidate > Apply Now. Once you’ve completed the process, go back and tap Detect the update, followed by Download now.
As with any major software update, it’s wise to back up important data before installation. Also, make sure your phone is charged to at least 50 percent to avoid any interruptions during the process.
