Android 12 is the most exciting version of the software in recent years. It brings loads of design and visual changes. The update brings the Wallpaper Theming engine called Material You. So, just by changing the wallpaper, your phone gets a new design overall.

The Flexdrop feature in ColorOS 12 has been renamed to Flexible Windows. Oppo has introduced Smart Sidebar 2.0 which allows users to quickly open favorite apps in no time. Security and privacy improvements are always in Google’s mind when creating a new version of Android. But this time, there’s a major change in privacy. In Android 12 running phones, you’ll see an icon for microphone, camera, or location whenever any of these are being accessed. In the past, users have reported that many apps are accessing the microphone or camera in the background. With Android 12, this problem gets eliminated as you’ll see an icon at the top of the screen whenever an app accesses the camera, microphone, or location.
