Feedback & Editorial Contact

TheMobileHunt is built around the idea that mobile technology coverage should be honest, accessible, and accountable. Reader feedback is central to that. Whether you’ve spotted an error, have a story tip, want to pitch a guest contribution, or simply want to tell us what we’re getting wrong — this page explains how to reach the right people and what our process looks like on our end.

Editorial Contact Channels

We use a single primary editorial inbox so nothing falls through the cracks. Please direct your message to the right purpose using the subject lines suggested below — it helps us route your message to the correct team member without delay.

Response Times

Our editorial team is distributed across time zones, which means we review our inbox at different points throughout the day. Here’s what you can generally expect:

  • Correction requests: We aim to review these within 48 hours. If your report leads to a correction, we will notify you.
  • Story tips: We read every tip we receive, though we cannot respond to all of them individually. If we pursue your tip, we may follow up for more information.
  • PR and review unit requests: We aim to respond within 3–5 business days. Please note that receiving a pitch or a review unit does not guarantee coverage or a positive review.
  • General enquiries: We try to respond within 5 business days, though response times may vary during periods of high volume.
We are a working editorial team, not a customer support desk. We appreciate patience and ask that you avoid sending the same enquiry multiple times — doing so can actually slow down our response.

Our Policy on PR Relationships

We have an open-door policy when it comes to receiving information from PR agencies and communications teams. We read press releases, attend briefings, and accept review units — this is a normal and necessary part of covering the mobile technology industry at the speed it moves.

However, the following principles are non-negotiable in all our PR relationships:

  • We do not offer editorial quid pro quo. Coverage cannot be purchased, guaranteed, or shaped in exchange for access.
  • We do not provide pre-publication approval of reviews or articles to brands, PR agencies, or manufacturers.
  • Embargo agreements are respected, provided they are reasonable. We will not sign agreements that restrict our ability to publish a negative or critical review.
  • Review units are disclosed in published reviews. Receiving a unit does not create any obligation on our part to publish a review, or to publish a favourable one.
  • We do not charge brands for coverage, reviews, or inclusion in buyer’s guides — any such arrangement would constitute paid content and would be clearly labeled as such.

Guest Contributions & Writer Pitches

TheMobileHunt occasionally publishes guest contributions from writers and industry professionals with relevant expertise. If you are interested in contributing, please email us with a brief pitch — one paragraph describing the piece, your angle, and why you’re the right person to write it. We do not accept pre-written articles for consideration; all guest content goes through our editorial process.

We do not accept paid guest posts or sponsored articles disguised as editorial contributions. Any content with a commercial arrangement behind it is published as sponsored content, clearly labeled.

Reader Feedback

We genuinely read reader feedback, and it does influence our coverage decisions. If there’s a topic, device, or angle you feel we’re not covering well enough, or if you have suggestions on how we can improve, we’d like to hear it. Critical feedback is as welcome as praise — probably more useful, honestly.

Please note that we may not be able to respond individually to all feedback, particularly during busy periods. But it is read, and the most common themes are discussed internally with our editorial team.

What We Cannot Help With

To manage expectations and help you get support from the right place, here are some things our editorial inbox is not the right channel for:

  • Technical support for mobile devices — please contact the manufacturer directly.
  • Requests to remove accurate reporting from our website.
  • Requests to change review scores or editorial assessments on behalf of a manufacturer.
  • Advertising and partnership enquiries — please use ads@themobilehunt.com for these.
