Fifth One UI 8 beta arrives for Galaxy S25 series with tons of bug fixes

Samsung is steadily pushing One UI 8 closer to its stable release. The company has now rolled out the fifth beta update for the Galaxy S25 series, packed with a bunch of bug fixes and system stability improvements. While it’s technically the fourth beta for markets like India, Germany, and the UK, it’s the fifth One UI 8 beta overall for the Galaxy S25 lineup.

One UI 8 Beta 5 rolling out to Galaxy S25 series

The latest beta update is live for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra in India, Germany, the UK, and the USA. Users in other regions like South Korea and Poland should also receive the beta anytime soon.

This new beta carries the firmware version ending in ZYH6 and weighs around 1.2GB. It also includes the August 2025 security patch, so users are getting both bug fixes and security enhancements in one go.

What’s new in One UI 8 Beta 5 for Galaxy S25?

With Beta 5, Samsung has addressed a wide range of issues reported by users over the past few weeks. It fixes visual glitches, functional bugs, and usability problems across the UI. Key areas of improvement include camera processing (yes, the moon’s back to normal!), lock screen layout, S Pen interactions, and system stability. There’s also a fix for the disappearing Now Brief content and Do Not Disturb settings that randomly reset.

While Samsung hasn’t given an official release date, the rapid pace of beta releases suggests that the stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 series could arrive as early as next month.
