Samsung is pushing a new software update to the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ users in the US. As you might have expected, the latest firmware mainly includes the August 2022 security patch.

The August security patch for the Galaxy Note 10 was started to rollout in the first week of the month. However, the rollout was just limited to international variants. Now, the update has started hitting carrier-locked versions in the US.

The latest software update for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ comes with the firmware version N97xUSQS7HVH1. As per a Sammobile report, the rollout is currently live on Xfinity Mobile’s network, with more regions expected to get it soon in the coming few days.

Samsung has already detailed the August 2022 security patch. According to which, it fixes dozens of vulnerabilities related to Samsung DeX, MAC address leak, Samsung Knox, and more.

Those who are having a carrier-locked Galaxy Note 10 or Galaxy Note 10+ in the US should have received the August update on their phone. Just in case the update hasn’t reached your phone, go to Settings >> Software update and tap on Download and install.

The Galaxy Note 10 is a flagship series from the South Korean giant released back in 2019. It came with Android 9 out of the box. The device has already received three major OS updates – Android 10, Android 11, and Android 12.

Unfortunately, the device won’t get Android 13, as the company has already released three major OS updates. However, the device will continue to receive regular security updates for at least a year.
