Samsung is almost ready to roll out the stable One UI 8 update, and the Galaxy S25 series is first in line to get it. The company has already confirmed that the stable update will arrive sometime in September, and since the Galaxy S25 lineup was the first to join the One UI 8 beta program, it makes sense that it will also lead the stable rollout.
One UI 8 stable rollout is around the corner
While we know the stable One UI 8 release is right around the corner, it likely won’t happen in the first week of September. That’s because Samsung is currently preparing a routine monthly security patch for the Galaxy S25 series, which will likely be the September 2025 security update.
Samsung typically pushes monthly security patches to its newest flagship phones in the first week of the month. That means the stable One UI 8 update may not start rolling out until the second or third week of September.
As for other Galaxy phones and foldables — like the Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 — they’ve only recently entered the One UI 8 beta program. So, they’ll likely have to wait a bit longer, possibly until October, to receive the stable version.
The good news is that Samsung is sticking to its schedule, and One UI 8 will officially be out in September, starting with the Galaxy S25. If you’re using one of the latest S series phones, you’re just one step away from getting the full stable release. Stay tuned!
