Samsung is nearly ready to wrap up the One UI 8 beta program, and the latest release confirms it. The company has rolled out the sixth beta update for the Galaxy S25 series, including the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
This version focuses purely on polishing the user experience, delivering a round of critical bug fixes and performance improvements ahead of the stable release expected in September. The update also includes the September 2025 security patch, and comes in at around 832MB with firmware version S93xBXXU5ZYHB.

What’s new in the sixth One UI 8 beta update?
The latest beta brings several meaningful refinements. Samsung has addressed a lock screen issue where notifications would only show icons instead of full previews. A visual glitch in the Naver Sports app’s Top Now bar has been corrected as well. The update also fixes a bug where keyboard phrase recommendation settings would disable after a reboot, and another where font settings would reset to the default after making changes.
There were also stability issues with app usage and screen transitions, where the screen would sometimes freeze and revert to the lock screen. These glitches have now been resolved. In addition, Samsung has fixed a display error affecting the time shown on the clock widget, as well as character truncation problems in the personal data intelligence widget.
Here’s the complete changelog:
- Applied September security patch
- Fixed the issue where only icons are displayed in the lock screen when notifications are received
- Fixed logo cutting issue in Naver Sports Top Now bar
- Fixed the issue of disabling the keyboard phrase recommendation function settings when rebooting the device
- Fixed the errors that apply basic fonts after changing fonts
- Modified the character truncation issue in personal data intelligence widget
- Fixed the issue where the screen stops and the lock screen is displayed when using the app
- Fixed clock widget time display error
Altogether, the One UI 8 Beta 6 update is focused on fine-tuning the software experience before the final build goes live. If everything goes smoothly, this may be the last beta update before Samsung pushes the stable One UI 8 rollout to the Galaxy S25 series in the coming weeks.
