Samsung has started rolling out the January 2026 security patch to the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra, a somewhat unexpected move given that the update is arriving on these newest flagships after already reaching older models like the Galaxy Tab S10 and Tab S9 series last month.
The update, identifiable by firmware version ending in AZA7, is a substantial 635MB download focused on security and stability enhancements. For the MediaTek Dimensity-powered Tab S11 lineup, the patch includes the unified security fixes for Qualcomm and MediaTek platforms.

Currently available in South Korea, the rollout should expand globally within the next few days. Galaxy Tab S11 series owners can check for the update manually via Settings > Software update > Download and install.
This security maintenance arrives as Samsung works internally to adapt One UI 8.5 for the tablet lineup. While a public beta remains exclusive to phones, the stable version of One UI 8.5 is expected around May 2026, likely bringing the next security patch to the Tab S11 series alongside its major new features.
