Galaxy Watch Ultra finally gets the February 2026 security patch

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra

Samsung’s February 2026 security patch has been making its rounds, but the Galaxy Watch Ultra was notably left out while the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 7, and Galaxy Watch 6 all received it earlier this month. That wait is now over.

The update is 432.87MB in size and carries firmware version L705FXXU3BZB4. Beyond the security patch, the changelog also mentions general device behaviour improvements, though Samsung hasn’t gone into specifics there. To grab the update, open the Galaxy Wearable app, head to Watch settings > Watch software update, and tap Download and install.

As for what the February patch actually fixes, it addresses 37 security vulnerabilities in total. Of those, 25 are Google-sourced fixes, while the remaining 12 are Samsung-specific. The Samsung side covers some fairly important areas, including Emergency Sharing, Knox Guard Manager, Samsung Dialer, the Settings app, facial and fingerprint authentication, and the PACM module.

We can confirm the rollout is live in India. Given that, it’s likely heading to other regions around the same time, if it hasn’t already reached them.

One thing worth keeping in mind: Samsung has already detailed the March 2026 security patch, but it hasn’t started pushing it out yet. The brand typically rolls security updates to smartphones and tablets first, with smartwatches following later. So the Galaxy Watch Ultra probably won’t see that one for a while.
