Honor 9X Pro to launch in India on May 12 : report

Huawei‘s sub-brand Honor has quietly revealed the name of their upcoming smartphone. According to a tweet from Honor India, the company is bringing a new product in India with Kirin 810 chipset. A report from IANS says that the company have accidentally confirmed the name in the latest tweet. The tweet now stands deleted from the Honor India twitter account. Currently there is no official information about the launch of Honor 9X Pro. However, a report from IANS says that it will launch on May 12 in India and will be available on Flipkart. The device is expected to cost around RS 15,000 – 20,000. This phone has already been launched in the Global market but Indian launch is pending.

The device comes with 6.59-inch display LCD displa48y with with 1080×2340 pixels resolution and 391ppi pixel density. It will be powered octa-core Kirin 810 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Storage is further expandable up to 512GB using microSD card.

For camera specifications, it features triple rear camera comprising of 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide and 2MP depth sensor. On the front side, there is a 16MP motorized pop-up selfie camera. The device packs with 4000mAh battery with no information about charging speed.

On the software side, Honor 9X Pro runs on Honor’s Magic UI 3.0 based on Android 10. Connectivity features include – WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS/Glonass, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack.The report also tells that Honor 9X Pro will be the first smartphone to come preinstalled with latest AppGallery.
