Motorola Edge+ launched with Snapdragon 865, 108MP camera alongside Motorola Edge
The first 5G series from Motorola has been launched. Previously, Motorola Edge series was scheduled to launch at MWC 2020, but it got cancelled due to coronavirus. Motorola Edge series consists of two smartphones Motorola Edge+ and Motorola Edge. The plus version has flagship level specs including 108MP camera, snapdragon 865 chipset.
Motorola Edge+
Motorola Edge+ is the best ever flagship phone from Motorola. The device has 6.7 inches Full HD+ AMOLED display with HDR10+ and 90Hz refresh rate. Moto Edge+ is powered by flagship Qualcomm snapdragon 865 paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage. It houses 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The handset also features reverse wireless charging as well.
For camera specifications, Motorola Edge+ features triple rear camera comprising of 108MP F1.8 main camera, 8MP telephoto and 16MP ultra wide camera. The front camera has 25-megapixel resolution for front photography. Moto Edge + comes with 3.5mm audio jack, Waves audio stereo speakers.
Motorola Edge
Motorola Edge has the design as of Motorola Edge+ but the specs are quite different. It has 6.7″ Full HD+ 90Hz display same like Edge+ but there is no HDR10+ support in Edge model. Motorola Edge is powered by Qualcomm snapdragon 765G chipset with integrated 5G modem. It has a battery backup of 4500mAh with 18W wired fast charging. Unlike Motorola Edge+, it has no support for wireless or reverse wireless charging.
For Camera specifications, Motorola Edge comes with triple rear camera setup which includes a 64MP main camera, 8MP telephoto camera and 16MP ultra wide camera. On the front, you get a 25MP selfie camera just like Edge+.
Both Motorola Edge and Edge+ comes with 3.5mm audio jack, Waves audio stereo speakers and Android 10 OS.
Motorola Edge, Edge+ Price
Motorola Edge+ will cost $999 (nearly Rs 76,000) while Motorola Edge will cost €599 (nearly Rs 50,000). Color options for Edge+ are: Thunder Grey and Smoky Sangria Hues. The standard Motorola Edge comes in Midnight Magenta and Solar Black colors.
Motorola Edge series will launch in India but the exact dates are to be announced by Motorola soon.
