Five upcoming smartphones from IQOO have surfaced on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. The Weibo post reveals key specifications of these upcoming smartphones, but the design part is still a mystery. According to the post, these five IQOO phones are IQOO 7, IQOO Z3, IQOO Z3X, IQOO U3X, and IQOO Neo 7.
Starting with IQOO 7, the image reveals that it is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It has a Super AMOLED E3 display and supports a 120Hz smooth refresh rate.
The phone has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 primary sensor and a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. Interestingly, the image shows that IQOO 7 has a 4,000mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging. As of now, there is no launch announcement from the IQOO, but it is likely to launch in Q1 2021.
As per the leaked image, the IQOO Z3 has an LCD display with 144Hz refresh rate support. It is powered by a 6nm processor (chipset name being unknown) paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
The IQOO Z3 has 48-megapixel primary sensor on the back and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Details about other sensors are also unknown yet. Moving ahead, the leaked image reveals that it has a battery capacity of around 5,000mAh and supports 44W fast charging.
The third one on the list is IQOO Z3X, which also has an LCD display but the refresh rate is reduced to 120Hz. In the image, it’s near clear whether the device is using Snapdragon 820 or Dimensity 820 chipset. The chipset is coupled with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
Like the IQOO Z3, it also has a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 16-megapixel sensor on the front. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W of fast charging. The leaked image reveals that it will launch in the first quarter of 2021, but there’s no confirmation from the company.
IQOO U3X is the basic model among all these 5 devices. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. It comes with an LCD panel and supports a normal 60Hz refresh rate.
On the back, it has a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel for selfies and video calling. The IQOO U3X houses a 5,000mAh large capacity battery and supports 18W fast charging. Currently, there’s no announcement from IQOO regarding the launch of U3X.
IQOO Neo 7
The last one we have here on the list is IQOO Neo 7. Like the IQOO 7, it is also fueled by Snapdragon 888 chipset coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It has a 48-megapixel primary camera on the back and a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter.
As per the image, IQOO Neo 7 flaunts an LCD panel with a refresh rate of 122Hz/144Hz. The phone has a battery capacity of around 4,500mAh and supports 55W fast charging. As of now, there is no launch date out, but the leaked image shows it could launch sometime in Q2-Q3 2021.
