In the last couple of months, Samsung has created a tradition of releasing the monthly security patch before any other brand and even before the month’s arrival. As expected, the brand has now released the February 2022 security patch update, which debuted on Galaxy Note 20 series.

The Galaxy Note 20 series phones – Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra – have become the first to receive the February 2022 security patch. For now, the update is rolling out in the Netherlands with the firmware version N98xxXXU3EVA9. It should cover more regions in the coming days.

The update should fix vulnerabilities related to system security and privacy. As of now, Samsung has not released the details about the February security patch. Therefore, the list of vulnerabilities getting fixed here is currently unknown.

Galaxy Note 20 series users in the Netherlands have already started picking up the February 2022 security patch on their phones. However, it might take a couple of days to reach all the units. Meanwhile, you can manually look for new updates via the Software Update section under the Settings application.
