Govt allows Amazon, Flipkart delivery in Green and Orange zones starting 4 May

The nation-wide lockdown has been extended till May 17, officially confirmed by Government. With this extension of lockdown, some important decision has been taken for E-commerce, Online cars & taxi, shops. According to MHA, E-commerce deliveries like Amazon, Flipkart etc have been allowed to resume delivery in Green and Orange Zones marked by Government. There is no relaxation for Red Zones.

For information, Red zone denote area with high risk of Coronavirus spread. While Orange zone means areas with low risk of coronavirus spread and Green zone denotes area free from coronavirus.

E-commerce

In Cabs & Taxi category such as Ola, Uber will be allows to run on the roads in Green and Orange zone but with only one passenger and the driver. For IT companies, they will be able to open offices with 50 percent workforce in green and orange zones. While only 33 percent for Red zones for safety measures.

Through some of the relaxations, Smartphone companies will be able to sell their products. Earlier Government has decided to resume E-commerce deliveries form April 21. But later the decision revoked 2 days earlier before April 21. E-commerce companies will be hoping that for nothing like previous announcement.

Now we can expect Realme Narzo Series, Vivo V19, Xiaomi Mi 10 to launch soon in India. These are some of the smartphone whose launch was been cancelled due to coronavirus lockdown. Apart from these phone, We may see more smartphone to launch in upcoming months.
