Huawei P50 and P50 Pro with 66W fast charging appears on 3C certification

Huawei is expected to release its P50 series of smartphones on July 29. The series includes two smartphones – Huawei P50 and P50 Pro. Ahead of the launch, both the phones have been spotted on the 3C certification revealing key details. The model numbers ABR-AL00 and JAD-AL50 spotted on 3C are likely to belong to Huawei P50 and P50 Pro.

The 3C listing reveals that both the Huawei P50 series phones support 4G LTE connectivity and 66W fast charging. Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the Huawei P50 Pro is powered by in-house Kirin 9000 SoC. The phone will be available in three colour options – Black, White, and Gold.

Rumors are that the company will also offer Snapdragon-888 powered Huawei P50 Pro without a 5G modem. The phone is likely to offer an OLED panel, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage. It has a total of 4 camera sensors at the back housed in two large circular cutouts. Recently, Huawei P50 Pro dummy unit was showcased in a YouTube video which revealed that the phone may offer a curved display and a punch-hole style selfie camera. Rumors are that the phone will use 1-inch Sony IMX800 as a primary sensor.
