Huawei P50 series is the company’s latest flagship series which was unveiled on July 29 in China. The P-lineup from Huawei is best known for its cameras and that’s what we see in the P50 series too. The company has launched two phones under the P50 series – Huawei P50 and P50 Pro. Due to chipset limitations, Huawei couldn’t bring the 5G connectivity to either P50 or P50 Pro. As always, you find new Huawei flagships at the top of DxOMark ranking and we see nothing different with Huawei P50 Pro.
Huawei P50 Pro edges out Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra to grab the top spot in the DxOMark ranking chart. The Xiaomi’s powerful Mi 11 Ultra has an overall rear camera score of 143, while the P50 Pro is just ahead of the phone with 144 points. The stellar camera performance is also seen in the selfie camera. In this category, P50 Pro is again at the top position with 106 points.
DxOMark is a private French engineering company that mainly tests new flagship phones with its own set of benchmarks. Of course, it is popular but in the recent past, reports surfaced on the internet saying that DxOMark manipulates the results. Also, DxOMark camera scores should not be the only factor when choosing the best camera phone, as the real-world performance may vary.
