Huawei Y9a – Space Silver

Huawei Y9a launched as the company’s latest affordable phone with a pop-up style selfie camera. The phone does not have Google services therefore you will have to use Huawei’s AppGallery to download applications. Huawei Y9s price is set to $239 (roughly Rs 17,500) in Iraq and pre-order in the country will start from September 12. It comes in Space Silver, Sakura Pink, and Midnight Black color options.

The Huawei Y9a has a 6.63-inch LCD display with 2400×1080 pixels FullHD+ resolution and 93% screen to body ratio. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset paired with 6GB / 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The higher RAM variant will be available in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and some countries in Middle Asia.

Huawei Y9a features a 16MP pop-up style front-facing camera. On the back, it has a circular quad-camera setup which includes a 64MP main camera with EIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera with 120-degree field of view, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The handset runs EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS). A 4,300mAh battery powers the device and supports 22.5W fast charging. However, Africa, the Middle East, and some countries in Middle Asia will get 40W fast charging support with the same battery capacity. Other features include – a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C port.
