Through an online event held today, Infinix launched two new affordable smartphones – Note 8 and Note 8i. Both the devices are powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset and feature a quad-camera setup on the back. Although the company has released the full specification of Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i but, the price and sale details have not been revealed yet.
Infinix Note 8 specifications
The Infinix Note 8 features a 6.95-inch HD+ LCD display with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and a peak brightness of 480nits. It comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, which is expandable up to 2TB through a microSD card slot. The phone gets a dual selfie camera which includes a 16MP main camera and the next one is a depth sensor. You will get 3 color options to choose from – Gray, Blue, and Green.
Around the back, we have a quad camera setup which consists of a 64MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro shooter, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP AI lens completes the setup. The phone packs a 5,200mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. Connectivity features include – Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The handset runs Android 10 out of the box.
Infinix Note 8i specifications
The Note 8i comes with a slightly smaller 6.78-inch display with HD+ resolution and 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The same MediaTek Helio G80 chipset powers the device. It replaces the 64MP primary camera from Infinix Note 8 with a 48MP sensor and the rest of sensors are the same.
Coming to the front camera, the phone only gets an 8MP single selfie camera. Apart from these changes, all other specifications and color options are the same as Infinix Note 8 has.
