iQOO 9 Pro Indian Variant (I2022) and Galaxy M23 5G (SM-M236B_DS) Appear on Bluetooth SIG Certification, Launch Seems Imminent

Last week, iQOO confirmed the India launch of the iQOO 9 series, without revealing the launch date. Rumours are that the devices could land in India by the end of this month. Ahead of the launch, the iQOO 9 Pro with model number I2022 has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification, alongside the Samsung Galaxy M23 5G, which is listed on the certification site with the model number SM-M236B_DS. Getting approval from Bluetooth SIG suggests that the devices are getting close to the launch.
The upcoming Galaxy M23 5G is listed on the Bluetooth SIG site with model numbers SM-M236B_DS, SM-M236Q_DS, and SM-E236B_DS. Apart from confirming the device name, the listing also reveals Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. The model number SM-E236B_DS has surfaced multiple times in the past and is reportedly linked with the Galaxy D23 5G. It means that the Galaxy M23 5G could be renamed as Galaxy F23 5G for some markets.
Last month, the Galaxy F23 5G was spotted on Geekbench. The listing revealed that the device has Snapdragon 750G SoC, 6GB RAM, and boots Android 12 out of the box. Most likely, we are going to see that same set of specifications in the Galaxy M23 5G as well.
Coming to the iQOO 9 Pro, the device was launched in China last month, and is all set to launch in India soon. The Chinese variant of the phone has a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with FulHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1000nits brightness. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
The device flaunts a 50MP (main) + 16 (telephoto) + 50MP (ultrawide) triple camera setup on the back and a 16MP selfie shooter inside the punch-hole cutout. The iQOO 9 Pro in China houses a 4,700mAh battery and supports 120W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging too.
