iQOO 9 series, the company’s next high-end smartphone series, is expected to launch on January 5 in China. A leaked poster that surfaced last week has revealed how the devices will look like and now, some key specifications of iQOO 9 Pro have been revealed, via the Geekbench listing. The iQOO 9 Pro has been spotted on the benchmarking site with the model number V2172. Let’s now look at what the Geekbench listing has in store for us.
iQOO 9 Pro (V2172A) Geekbench details
The iQOO 9 Pro with model number V2172A was spotted on Geekbench benchmarking site by MySmartPrice. According to the listing, the device is powered by a “taro” code-named processor and Adreno 730G GPU. It confirms that the chipset used here is none other than Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip from Qualcomm.
The smartphone is listed to have 12GB RAM. Though, we can expect an 8GB RAM option as well. It will come pre-loaded with Android 12 out of the box. When tested on Geekbench v5, the iQOO 9 Pro scored 1277 points and 3787 points in the single and multi-core tests.
According to the rumour mill, the iQOO 9 Pro may come with a 50MP primary camera, QHD+ curved AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate support, and a 4,700mAh battery. On the other hand, the vanilla iQOO 9 is said to pack a FullHD+ display. Both the models are expected to support 120W fast charging.
