JioMeet video conferencing app is rolling out supporting up to 100 users

JioMeet video conferencing service was announced a year ago and is now available for both personal and enterprise support. The company has now started rolling out JioMeet for limited number of users. Due to lockdown, demand for video conferencing app is increasing time to time and upon seeing the best opportunity Reliance Jio launched their own video conferencing service. To be a successful product, JioMeet will have to compete with most popular products like Google Meet, Zoom, Skype and more.

JioMeet supports up to 100 people in a video conferencing. However Google Play Listing reveals that the app supports maximum 5 people in free version. Some of the features include – HD audio and video calling, video call scheduling, web browser support, platform independent. JioMeet app is yet to be launched for all the users. However, the company says that “We are just a few days away from offering this to all Indians. Users will be able to leverage this service in the most secure environment”.

According to Pankaj Panwar, Senior VP at Reliance Jio, “JioMeet is a platform which has much uniqueness. It actually has an ability to work on any device, any operating system and it has an ability to do complete collaboration”.

As mentioned earlier JioMeet will be available for both mobile and desktop devices. To use this app on mobile, simply download JioMeet from Google Play Store or Apple’s App store and then register on the app. Finally select contacts and starts video calling.

To use JioMeet on desltop, Open JioMeet website and register using email-id or mobile number. Then select contacts and start using video calling.
