Lava Z2 Max with 6,000mAh battery, 13MP dual cameras, and a 7-inch display launched: Price in India, specifications

Lava Z2 Max is the company’s latest smartphone under its Z-series. The series already includes Lava Z1, Z2, Z4, and Z6. The newly launched Z2 Max targets students to offer online education during the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. It comes with a 7-inch large display, Android 10 (Go Edition), and a 6,000mAh battery.

The Lava Z2 Max price in India has been set at Rs 7,799 for the sole 2GB RAM + 32GB storage. It comes in Stroked Blue and a Stroked Cyan colour options. The smartphone is already up for purchase via the official website, Amazon, and Flipkart.

The smartphone offers a 7-inch HD+ LCD display, allowing comfortably watch content on a big display. The panel has a 720×1,640 pixels resolution, a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core Helio chipset, the chipset name is currently unknown.

Around the back, Lava Z2 Max features a dual-camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. The waterdrop notch on the front has an 8MP sensor for selfies. It packs a massive 6,000mAh battery and charges through a USB Type-C port. The company claims that Lava Z2 Max takes 3 hours and 47 minutes to fill up 100% battery and delivers 9 hours and 8 minutes of YouTube video playback with full brightness and maximum volume. 

On the software front, the phone runs the stock version of Android 10 Go. It has a MicroSD card slot for additional storage up to 256GB. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. All the basic necessary sensors are there: accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
