Lenovo announces Lemon K12 and Lemon K12 Pro smartphones

Lenovo announces the Lemon K12 series in China. Unsurprisingly, the two devices Lemon K12 and Lemon K12 Pro are rebadged Moto E7 Plus and Moto G9 Power. Let’s now look at the price and specifications of Lenovo Lemon K12 and Lemon K12 Pro.

The Lenovo Lemon K12 has been priced at 799 yuan (~Rs 9,000/$123) and the K12 Pro comes with a price tag of 999 yuan (~Rs 11,300/$153). Both the devices are up for pre-order on Chinese retailer JD.com.
The company has announced a special “Double 12 Starting Price” where buyers can get a 1,000 yuan discount on both phones as the first launch price. Sales for the Lemon K12 series will kick on December 12 via JD and Tmall.

The Lemon K12 offers a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display with a waterdrop notch to house an 8MP selfie camera. It is fueled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 460 chipset that is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The phone has also a MicroSD card slot that supports up to 512GB of storage expansion.

The dual rear camera setup includes a 48MP main shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W normal charging and boots Android 1o out of the box.

The Lemon K12 Pro has a bigger 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display with a punch-hole cutout for a 16MP selfie shooter. The chipset has been upgraded to Snapdragon 662 that is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Around the back, we have a triple camera setup which consists of a 64MP primary shooter, and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro shoot. The Lenovo K12 Pro houses a 6,000mAh large capacity battery and supports 20W of fast charging. Like the vanilla K12, it also boots Android 10 out of the box.
