Last month, LG unveiled the world’s first swivel screen smartphone dubbed LG Wing. Now, the company seems to be gearing up to launch the LG Wing in India on October 28. The company has sent out invites that mention #ExploretheNew and shows the design of the phone as a shadow, which no doubt is the Wing phone from LG. The launch event will commence on Oct 28 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM IST.
The outer display allows the user to experience the phone in Swivel mode which can rotate by 90-degree whereas the secondary display is always fixed behind. Wing phone offers a 6.8-inch FullHD+ P-OLED rotating display with 2440 × 1080 pixels resolution and 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The secondary display is a 3.9-inch G-OLED display with 1240 x 1080 pixels resolution.
Under the hood, the LG Wing is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G 5G processor paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The phone features a 32MP pop-up front shooter for selfies and video calling. On the back, it packs a triple camera setup that includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP ultrawide gimbal mode camera.
A 4,000mAh fuels the device and supports 25W fast charging and 10W wireless charging too. Other notable features include – USB Type-C port, a MicroSD card slot for up to 2TB of expandable storage, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The LG Wing costs $999 in the US which converts to Rs 73,700 for the 256GB storage.
