MediaTek Dimensity 1300T SoC will be the next chipset for the company. It will be used in high-end tablets. Yesterday, a reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the Honor V7 Pro will be the first to be equipped with Dimensity 1300T SoC. Today, he revealed more about the new chipset.
According to the tipster, the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 1300T boasts an ARM Cortex-A78 architecture. It is fabricated on TSMC 6nm process. The System-on-Chip (SoC) has a total of 9-core GPU and 6-core APU3.0. When compared with its predecessor, the new chipset gives 30% more CPU performance and the GPU performance is increased by 40%.
The AI performance of MediaTek Dimensity 1300T SoC is said to have been improved by 82% as compared to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 SoC. With this much information, we can expect the Dimensity 1300T to have much better performance and very faster handling of AI & ML tasks than its predecessor.
As of now, MediaTek has not announced the arrival of Dimensity 1300T. But, the alleged press release screenshot shared by Digital Chat Station suggested that MediaTek could hold an event on July 26 to unveil the Dimensity 1300T.
