MediaTek MT6893 chipset gets benchmarked on AnTuTu with a total score higher than that of Snapdragon 865. The AnTuTu listing does not reveal the chipset name, but a reliable tipster Digital Chat Station claims that it is MT6893 SoC. The chipset has scored 175351 points in CPU, 235175 points in GPU, 123535 points in Memory, and 88348 points in UX. Thus, getting a total of 622,409.
The chipset has been tested in a device that has 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS3.1 storage, Android 11 OS, and a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a total of 8 cores which includes four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55. For graphics handling tasks, the chipset integrates with Mali-G77 GPU. Notably, the chipset is built on a 6nm process.
In comparison, the MT6893 from MediaTek outperforms the Snapdragon 865 chipset which has a total AnTuTu score of 611,419. One of the main reasons for this much of AnTuTu score is the use of Cortex-A78 super core with up to 3.0GHz speed.
Notably, the total AnTuTu points of MT6893 is quite closer to that of Samsung’s latest and first 5nm chipset which is Exynos 1080. So, the MediaTek MT6893 SoC will be a good competitor for the Snapdragon 865 and Exynos 1080 SoC.
