Meizu 17 and 17 Pro listed on GeekBench ahead May 8 launch

Meizu 17 and 17 Pro is all set to launch in May 8 through online livestream. Meizu 17 and 17 Pro will be the company’s first 5G mobile phones. According to the listing on GeekBench, Both the device runs on Android 10 on the top of Flyme OS 8.1 . The listing says , Meizu 17 will come in 8GB RAM and the Meizu 17 Pro will come with 12GB RAM. The GeekBench listing does not reveals much information but the company has already revealed some specifications by teasing multiple posters .

The information on the GeekBench shows Kona motherboard. It simply means that the phone uses Snapdragon 865 chipset.

As per the official teasters, Meizu 17 has super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The display has a punch-hole cut-out at the top-right corner for the 32MP front camera. The Meizu 17 comes with Meizu mSmart 5G technology. It is a power saving technology that saves over 60% power. The device is said to have 4500mAh battery with 30W fast charging, NFC, linear motor for haptic feedback .

For Meizu 17 Pro, the listing hints for 12GB RAM variant with same processor, Snapdragon 865. Surprisingly, Meizu 17 perform better than Meizu 17 Pro. The benchmark score for Meizu 17 is 917 for single-core and 3095 for multi-core. Whereas, Meizu 17 Pro scores 913 in single-core test and 2965 in multi-core test.

Meizu 17 Pro will come with 40W wired charging and 27W wireless charging support. it will feature a quad camera setup with ring flash in the middle. Other features include – UFS 3.1 storage, LPDDR5 RAM.
