Samsung recently announced the feature-packed Galaxy Tab S8 series last month. And now, the company might be working on a small-sized Galaxy tablet, which has now passed through the Bluetooth SIG certification. The new Samsung tablet has the model number SM-T260.

As always, the Bluetooth SIG listing for the tablet does not reveal much information, apart from confirming the Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. However, a report from TabletMonkeys suggests that the Samsung SM-T260 could be a 7-inch tablet from the South Korean giant.

The report has also included a leaked image of the Samsung SM-T260 with rounded corners. The same model number is already listed on the FCC certification website. According to the FCC listing, the device has a 4,500mAh battery with model number EB-BG781ABY. It also confirms the USB Type-C port as the device supports a data cable with model number EP-DT725.

Samsung has not been focusing much on the 7-inch tablet since the Galaxy Tab A 7.0, which was released back in 2016. The latest Galaxy Tab S8 series also starts from 11-inch. Therefore, it is hard to digest the arrival of a 7-inch tablet from Samsung. Hopefully, we’ll have more details on this in the coming weeks.
