New Dimensity 1200 SoC Powered Vivo Phone is in the Works; Tipped to have 48MP Quad Cameras, 33W Charging and more
Vivo is reportedly in the works to launch the Vivo X70 flagship series which might launch in September. The vanilla X70 is rumored to be powered by Dimensity 1200 SoC, there might be more Dimensity 1200 SoC-powered phones in the X70 series. Now, a reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that Vivo has another phone with the Dimensity 1200 SoC.
The tipster has revealed the key specifications, however, the device name is currently a mystery. According to him, this new Vivo phone has a curved display with FullHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a centered punch-hole cutout for a single front-facing camera. The phone is tipped to have 48MP quad cameras on the back which may include a periscope lens and a 32MP front-facing camera.
The phone may have a 4,200mAh battery and support 33W fast charging. It is tipped to have 12GB RAM for the top-tier model. The tipster believes that the phone may cost more than CNY 4,000 (~Rs 45,800).
The same tipster recently revealed that Vivo will also launch new smartwatches and tablets alongside the X70 series. He also revealed that the company may unveil its first foldable this year. Vivo is also said to be working on bringing its Laptop.
