Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 starts getting Android 10 update

Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 launched with Android 8.1 (Oreo) and now the company starts rolling out Android 10 update to both of them. So, this becomes the second major Android OS update. HMD Global was expected to roll out Android 10 OS to their eligible devices by Q2 2020 but that couldn’t happen.

The company says that update will be rolled out in a phased manner. It means that the first 10% of the user will receive the update and like this, the remaining users will receive the update. These are the countries to receive the update in the initial wave.

It is important to note that this is the second major OS update to the Nokia 3.1 and Nokia 5.1 and hence, both the device now becomes in-eligible for future OS upgrades.
