nubia is set to unveil its next set of gaming smartphones in February and it will be the RedMagic 7 series. As we are getting close to the launch, more details about the device are surfacing online through certifications sites, leaks, and official teasers. In the latest development, the Red Magic 7 Pro with model number NX709J has been spotted on the 3C certification site, alongside a new Honor phone which carries the model number LGE-AN00.
Past leaks have been pointing out at the 165W fast charging support for the Red Magic 7 Pro, and that’s what the 3C certification also tells us. The vanilla model of the Red Magic 7 series will also reportedly support 165W charging. Apart from the 165W super-fast charging, the highlights of the Red Magic 7 series could also include the addition of an under-display fingerprint reader. So, it could be the Industry’s first gaming phone to bring this feature.
The specs of nubia Red Magic 7 have been already uncovered by TENAA and Geekbench listings. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, paired with up to 18GB RAM. It will come with a 6.8-inch OLED panel with slim bezels, housing an 8MP selfie camera. On the rear side, it features a vertical camera array, led by a 64MP primary sensor. It could pack a 4,500mAh battery.
Coming to the new Honor phone, which got itself listed on China’s 3C certification site, reveals that it supports 66W fast charging. The device bears model number LGE-AN00 and supports 5G connectivity. As of now, the marketing name or any other details is yet to surface on the internet. Hopefully, we’ll get more details in the coming weeks.
