OnePlus is gearing up to add a new member to its 8T lineup with the OnePlus 8T. In the past reports, we have seen the renders and leaked specifications of the device. Now, a new report from MySmartPrice suggests that the OnePlus 8T launch date has been set to October 14.
The ‘T’ model of an OnePlus device generally brings some improvement over the regular one, as in the case with OnePlus 7T. Past leaks suggest that the device will have a 6.55-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout to house the selfie camera. It is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset with an integrated 5G modem. The phone will likely come in two storage variants – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB.
In terms of cameras, the OnePlus 8T is said to feature an L-shaped camera module on the back. The camera setup may include a 48MP primary camera, a 16MP ultrawide lens, a 5MP macro, and a 2MP portrait lens. We expect the device to come with a 32MP front-facing camera. The phone may house a 4,500mAh battery and supports 65W fast charging as an upgrade 30W on the OnePlus 8.
