OnePlus usually brings “T” variant of its flagship phones, such as OnePlus 7T, 7T Pro, 6T, and more. But this time, the company won’t bring OnePlus 9T or 9T Pro. Instead, we’ll see OnePlus 9RT, a “T” variant of the OnePlus 9R that was launched earlier this year. Yesterday, OnePlus confirmed that the 9RT will launch on October 13 in China. Today, through a Weibo post, the company revealed key specifications of the phone.
OnePlus 9RT will offer Samsung E4 AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate support. It will be driven by the Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, while the OnePlus 9R has Snapdragon 870 chipset. So, the 9RT is getting a better chipset. The SoC is coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The OnePlus 9RT will bring a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging, same as the OnePlus 9R.
OnePlus 9RT is getting a new camera setup. Details about the sensors is currently unknown yet, however rumors that the phone may get a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor. So, the phone is likely to get processor as well as camera upgrades.
