Back in 2015, OPPO unveiled the A33 as a budget smartphone featuring Snapdragon 410 chipset, 8MP rear camera. Now, the company is gearing up to launch a new version of the phone dubbed OPPO A33 2020. We can expect the 2020 model to feature good set of cameras, a higher battery capacity and a well performance budget processor.
The A33 2020 bearing model number OPPO CPH2137 now appeared on NBTC, TKDN, BIS, SDPPI certification. The certifications do not reveal much details but indicate that the launch seems is not too far from here.
The previous OPPO A33 has a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display with 540 × 960 pixels resolution and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It features an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, HDR, Autofocus, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Under the hood, it is powered by Quad-core Qualcomm’s snapdragon 410 processor paired with Adreno 306 GPU.
The phone comes in a single storage option – 2GB RAM + 16GB storage although it has a microSD card slot for additional storage. A 2,400mAh battery fuels the device and does not support fast charging. The OPPO A33 runs ColorOS 2.1 based on Android 5.1. Connectivity features include – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, FM Radio, MicroUSB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It was launched with a price tag of Rs 13,990 (about $190).
