Last week, Oppo unveiled the Reno 5 and Reno 5 Pro with an attractive look and a good set of specifications. There’s also a Reno 5 Pro+ that will be launched on December 24. Today, the first sale of Reno 5 series was held, and surprisingly, it crossed the 10 million mark in just 10 minutes.
It’s worth mentioning that the Reno series is the company’s main offline product line. But, this time online sale of the latest Reno series that is Reno 5, is getting a big boost. The Reno 5 and Reno 5 Pro have fluorescent coating applied to the top of the phone and the camera bump which glows in the dark.
Oppo Reno5, Reno5 Pro: specifications
The Oppo Reno 5 has a 6.43-inch flat OLED display whereas the Pro model has a bigger 6.55-inch curved OLED display. Both the smartphone features quad-camera setup which includes a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP depth and a 2MP macro sensor. Both having a 32MP selfie shooter in a punch-hole style.
Under the hood, Reno 5 Pro is powered by Dimensity 1000+ SoC and the vanilla Reno 5 gets Snapdragon 765G chipset. The Reno 5 packs a 4,300mAh battery and the Pro model gets a slightly bigger 4,350mAh battery. Both the phone supports 65W fast charging, in-display fingerprint sensor, and 5G connectivity.
