Earlier this month, Oppo unveiled the Reno5 and Reno5 Pro, and today, the company launches a flagship-grade smartphone, Reno5 Pro+ 5G. The main highlights include a high-end Sony IMX766 sensor, Snapdragon 865 chipset, and a beautiful design on the back.

The Oppo Reno5 Pro+ 5G price has been set at CNY 3,999 (~Rs 45,000/$613) for the 8GB/128GB variant. There’s also a 12GB/256GB variant, which is priced at CNY 4,499 (~Rs 50,700/$689). The smartphone comes in Black and Blue colors.
The company will also bring a limited edition version of the Reno5 Pro+ 5G in collaborating with known artist Joshua Vides. It will have the same price (CNY 4,499). The company will start taking pre-orders from January 18 and the sales will commence from January 22.

The smartphone comes with a 6.55-inch curved AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel has a 20:9 tall aspect ratio, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and an impressive 1,110 nits peak brightness.
The Reno5 Pro+ 5G is powered by Snapdragon 865 chipset coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB onboard storage. There’s no MicroSD slot for additional storage. On the back, the device features Sony’s new and powerful 50MP IMX766 primary sensor with OIS support, F1.8 aperture, and 1/1.56″ sensor size.
The main sensor is accompanied by a 13MP telephoto lens, a 16MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. The top-left punch-hole cutout on the front is a home for the 32MP selfie shooter. Reno5 Pro+ packs a 4,500mAh battery and supports SuperVOOC 2.0 65W charging and reverse wireless charging too. Other notable specs include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Android 11 OS, Dolby Atmos, and Stereo speakers.
