POCO has finally confirmed the arrival of its next F-series smartphone. The short teaser shared by POCO India on Twitter reveals that the phone will be called POCO F3 GT and set to launch in India in the third quarter of this year (Q3 2021). The teaser also reveals that it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset.
The tweet does not reveal the design and more specifications. Rumors are that this could arrive as a rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming Edition which was launched back in China in April 2021. This could be the second Dimensity 1200 powered smartphone in India after Realme X7 Max 5G.
POCO F3 GT Expected Specifications
Based on the recent rumors that POCO F3 GT is a rebranded version of Redmi K40 Gaming, we can expect what the phone could bring. It may arrive with a 6.67-inch FullHD+ OLED display. The panel could have a 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and a 16MP front-facing camera. Around the back, it may feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. It may come with a 5,065mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
