Realme C21, Realme 7i, Realme 8 Pro, and Realme C15 (Qualcomm) are Receiving New Software Update

Realme is sending a new software update to Realme C21, Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition, Realme 7i, and Realme 8 Pro. It mainly brings July 2021 security patch along with fixes for several issues. The new OTA update is rolling out in India and should roll out to other regions in the next few days.

The new software update for Realme C21 comes with software version RMX3201PU_11_A.41. It brings the security patch released in July 2021 which fixes dozens of vulnerabilities to improve system security and privacy. Additionally, the update optimizes system stability and fixes several known issues. 

Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition

Realme is sending a new update to Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition. It brings the July 2021 security patch and optimizes system stability. Realme has also fixed several known issues in the latest OTA build. The new update can be identified by firmware version RMX2195_11.C.06

Realme 8 Pro

Realme 8 Pro is also receiving a new update that mainly brings July 2021 security patch. According to the changelog, Realme has fixed the issue where WhatsApp images were not getting saved to the photos app. It also fixes the wrong time displaying issue on the Always-On Display (AOD) screen. The software update bundles with firmware version RMX3081_11.A.41

Realme 7i

Similar to other Relame devices in this post, Realme 7i is also getting July 2021 security patch in the new update. It comes with firmware version RMX2103_11.C.07. The changelog also mentions ​​system stability optimizations and fixes to several known issues.

As always, the new update for all the devices is rolling out in a staged fashion. It means that the update will initially reach a limited number of users and then a broader rollout in the new few days if no critical bugs are found. To manually check for the new update, navigate to Settings >> Software update
