Earlier this month, Realme unveiled the GT 5G and now gearing up to launch Realme GT Neo. Today, the company revealed that the Realme GT Neo launch will commence on March 2 in China. This will be the first smartphone to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200 chipset.
The GT 5G on the other hand uses Snapdragon 888 chipset. So, both the devices use the latest processors. One from Qualcomm and the other from MediaTek.
Today, Realme India also teased the arrival of the first Dimensity 1200 SoC powered smartphone. Now, it is obvious that this is the Realme GT Neo. So, Realme may bring the GT 5G and GT Neo smartphones in India pretty soon.
Realme GT Neo is believed to have the code name RMX3031 which today appeared on Geekbench. It reveals that the phone has Dimensity 1200 chipset, Android 11 OS, and 6GB RAM. More RAM variants will be revealed at the launch. The Realme RMX3031 already cleared India’s BIS certification. So, the India launch of Realme GT series is not looking too far from here.
