Redmi K40 launch date set for February 25, Expected price and specs

After several teasers, Redmi has finally confirmed the launch date of Redmi K40 that is February 25. The launch poster was shared by the company on Weibo. The poster does not reveal much details, but recent leaks have revealed key specifications and prices of the Redmi K40.

Redmi Manager, Lu Weibing earlier teased that Redmi K40 has the smallest punch-hole cutout on a smartphone. It is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC and the Pro model may feature Snapdragon 888 SoC.

The battery capacity is currently unknown but the company teased the phone to have more than 4,000mAh capacity. It was teased that the Redmi K40 series will feature the most expensive flat display.

Past leaks suggest that the Redmi K40 price starts from CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 34,000) for the base variant.

There is also a Redmi K40 Pro, which is expected to launch later this year. The Pro model is most likely to bring some top-tier specifications like Snapdragon 888 SoC, fast charging, and great display.
