Yesterday, Xiaomi confirmed the arrival of the Redmi K50 series, and now the devices have started surfacing on certification sites. The K50 series will launch in February. However, the exact date is still a mystery. Today, a new Xiaomi phone carrying model number 2201116SC appears on the 3C certification sites, revealing 67W fast charging support. The model number most likely belongs to the vanilla Redmi K50.
The alleged Redmi K50 has been spotted on the certification site with model number 2201116SC. The Pro model is already confirmed to pack a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Xiaomi claims that the device takes just 17 minutes to refill its battery from 0 to 100%. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
The Chinese variant of the Redmi K50 carrying model number 2201116SC has now appeared on the 3C certification. However, its Indian variant with model number 2201116SI has already been spotted on the IMEI Database. It means that the Redmi K50 series could also make its way to India, but with a different name as seen with the Redmi K40 series.
