Samsung is reportedly gearing up to launch a new entry-level smartphone dubbed Galaxy A02s. As of now, the device has been spotted on multiple certification sites which includes Bluetooth SIG and NBTC certification. Today, the Galaxy A02s appear in the FCC listing showing rear side schematic and reveals battery capacity.
As per the FCC listing, the phone will come with a rectangular-shaped rear camera module placed at the upper left side. At the bottom, we can see a speaker grille, charging port, and a headphone jack too. The power button and volume rockers are on the right side of the smartphone whereas the sim slot is on the left side. Further, the FCC listing reveals that Galaxy A02s has a 5,000mAh battery capacity.
The adapter model (IEP-TA200) mentioned in the FCC document was recently certified on UL Demko with 15W fast charging. The handset will come with dual-sim support and 4G connectivity.
That’s not it, we have more details coming from the Geekbench listing. According to that, the Galaxy A02s will come with Android 10 OS, 3GB of RAM, and a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm processor.The chipset name is currently known but expected to be Snapdragon 460 budget SoC.
Samsung is yet to reveal the launch date for this Galaxy A02s, however appearing on multiple certifications hints for an imminent launch. That’s all for now, we’ll kep you posted with the latest updates.
